Working with Studio Kritique, was one of the best decisions I made. Since I was travelling from another city, I was a little worried about how everything would work out, but from the very first meeting I had with the designer, Krithi, I was assured that I was in good hands.
They are very organised with their appointments, timelines, and deliveries, which made it easy for me to coordinate everything from another city. The gown was almost perfect at the first trial, with only minimal touches needed.
I wanted a gown that I could be comfortable in, and Krithi was very considerate of what I wanted. She truly puts the bride's interests first. She has great knowledge of fabrics and sourcing materials, and her choice of satin made my simple gown stand out beautifully. The lace also looked stunning on the skin.
The gown travelled from Bangalore to Mangalore and then to Goa with utmost care, thanks to Krithi's clear instructions. The packaging was also very professional.
Studio Kritique was also kind enough to take on my sister's gown at the last minute. My sister lives abroad, so her measurements were taken online, and they delivered exactly what was promised. The dress fit perfectly in a single sitting.
The entire process was so seamless from start to finish, even with me living in a different city. I am very thankful to Krithi and her team. ❤️
I found out about Studio Kritique, from a close friend who couldn't stop raving about the wedding gown they did for her. So, I decided to approach them for a dress, for a very special occasion- my sister's wedding! I was going to be the Maid of Honour.
Here are some things about the lead designer Kriti, that will stay with me as a reminder of the fantastic experience I had with them-
Kriti knows her craft. Period. There are no two ways about it. The quality she produces is impeccable. Even if you nit-picked, you wouldn't find a thread out of place. She is knowledgeable and up to date with what's happening in the fashion world. She knows her fabric, cuts, designs, fits, what works for, what doesn't, all of it! Trust her. Just trust her.
She isn't just a designer. She is a consultant. She spent time understanding my needs, my expectations, what I had in mind. She also told me what will work and what won't very clearly (like a true blood subject matter expert)- gave me all kinds of options. We spent an hour just aligning my expectations to what she could do for me.
She values time- yours and hers. And in this country it comes as a breath of fresh air.
She listens. Truly listens.
She is honest and transparent.
She cares. Cares about her product, about how you'll look in it. She was deeply invested in me looking good and feeling good about what I'm wearing. That can only come from someone who is truly customer centric.
She is worth every minute of your time and money.
I walked out of Studio Kritique with a dress that fetched me a zillion compliments and a heart full of warmth and gratitude for the work Kriti had done for me.
Krithi is the angel who made me look like the most beautiful bride on my wedding day!! Her professionalism and eye-for-the-most-minute-details is admirable! She left no stone un-turned to make me my dream wedding gown in the budget that I was comfortable with.

I found Studio Kritique serendipitously through Google search, and just speaking to the designer, Krithi, over call gave me a feeling that she was someone who knew her stuff really well. Throughout our conversations over WhatsApp, Krithi was always super-patient & super-detailed in the way she answered all my queries.
Her understanding of fabrics just by looking at the pictures sent over WhatsApp, her clear communication, her expert-advice that helped me in decision-making, her adherence to timelines from start to end, made the whole virtual experience unrealistically seamless. Cut to my fittings — my experience was nothing short of magical! The garments were perfectly stitched, exactly how I wanted & the finish was WOW! There were barely any alterations needed & I was overjoyed! I honestly couldn't believe the outcome!
I realised that Krithi & her team were experts at what they do. Because of Kriti's exceptional attention to detail, her in-depth research to understand her clients' requirements & her commitment to delivering excellence, she's now my go-to for all my wardrobe wishes!
